As I made a bet to myself, An Education, a film surrounded by very much buzz, is released in one theater, and downtown at that ! A Serious Man is only playing Seattle and one theater in Bellevue still and it's been released for 3 weeks now. This is my plight. All of the films that seem to interest me most, are more independentley made with smaller budgets. Can the distributor's throw a bone to us suburbanites ? I don't mind driving to our major city a couple times a year, but it tends to get ridiculous after awhile.
