Veteran actress Glenn Close, who happens to be nominated for a Golden Globe for her role on TV's Damages this year, will be returning to the big screen next year in a film called Albert Nobbs. It's based off a George Brown short story that's based in Ireland at the end of the 18th century, about a woman who pretends to be a man and works as a butler and was never discovered. Close played the role on Broadway in the early 80's to good reviews.
The film is directed by Rodrigo Garcia ( Mother and Child ) and co-stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Michael Gambon, Brenda Fricker, Janet McTeer, Mia Wasikowska and Aaron Johnson.
