Not wasting time after his last Oscar nominated film Up In The Air, Jason Reitman is already underway filming his next film " Young Adult ", a reuinting of sorts with screenwriter Diablo Cody, which earned both director and screenwriter Oscar nominations a few years ago for Juno, with Charlize Theron in the lead and a cast that co-stars Patrick Wilson, Elizabeth Reaser and Patton Oswalt.
Young Adult's plot is centered around a thirty-something fiction writer ( Theron ) who’s returning to her Midwestern home turf to hunt down “the one who got away,” only to find that he’s now married and is a father.
The film is seeking a 2011 release date.
