Broadcast Film Critics Award nominations

Can't say that I'm all that surprised by these names and films shown on this ballot. Would have liked to see Shutter Island in the best film category. Michael Douglas for Solitary Man instead of Jesse Eisenberg. No love for Naomi Watts for her fine acting in Fair Game. I'd also swap out Andrew Garfield and Jeremy Renner for Sean Penn and Bill Murray in supporting. I'd switch out Kunis with Miranda Richardson for her fine work in Made In Dagenham. And finally one HUGE omission is that of Robert Richardson in the cinematography category not getting in for what is one of the best lensing/lighted films of 2010 on Shutter Island.

The 16th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards will be given on 14 January 2011 to honor the finest achievements in 2010 filmmaking.

About Me

My photo
Started to really pay attention to film ( movies ) what was going on in front of the camera, but more interestingly, behind it as well at about as far back as age 10. Motion pictures ( when good ) are a fascinating medium. All the work and prep that goes into filmmaking. It's an amazing process !
