Strings Attached is an upcoming American romantic comedy film directed and produced by Ivan Reitman ( Stripes, Ghostbusters ). The plot was conceived from a screen play written by Elizabeth Meriwether. This film is about two people a woman named Emma Franklin portrayed by Natalie Portman and Adam Kurtzman played by Ashton Kutcher, who try to have a emotionally free sexual relationship, but they have a revelation of wanting more in a relationship.

This movie had three studios, which are directly involved in the film's production, and those are Cold Spring Pictures, Paramount Pictures, and Spyglass Entertainment.

The film also stars Kevin Kline, Cary Elwes, Lake Bell, Olivia Thirlby, Greta Gerwig, Talia Blasam and Phil LaMarr.
