Ridley Scott turns 73 today. The famous director has been nominated for three Academy Awards; Thelma and Louise ( 1992 ) Gladiator ( 2001 ) and Black Hawk Down ( 2002 ) and has made countless good films including the very first Alien, which he is currently in production on two Alien prequels.
