It sort of surprised me that an impressive filmmaking team has agreed with Brett Ratner to direct the next Ben Stiller film Tower Heist. Why am I surrpsied...well many of the so called movie pundits don't think too highly of his work or skills ( though I must admit I did like Red Dragon )
The film will also co-star Eddie Murphy, Alan Alda, Dave Chappelle and Charlie Murphy with much respected screenwriter/director Noah Baumbauch writing the script, uber producer Brian Grazer producing and multiple Oscar nominee Dante Spinotti handling the cinematography.
Tower Heist is an action comedy about a group of hard working guys that find out they've fallen victim to a wealthy business man's Ponzi scheme, they conspire to rob his high-rise residence. It will be released sometime in 2011.
