Peter Jackson should direct The Hobbit
Now that director Guillermo del Toro ( Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy ) has announced he's leaving The Hobbit movies due to conflicting shooting schedules, it's obvious the studio is on a fast track for a replacement. I have read many suggestions and all probably worthy of the job, but I just can't see a better candidate more suited to step in than Peter Jackson ( who was only co-producing ) taking over and helming the movie. It just makes perfect sense since it's he who directed the three previous Lord Of The Rings films. He knows the source material probably better than anybody and is familiar with how to make this certain type of films. I would be disappointed if he doesn't step in and direct this project.

About Me
- No Bad Movies
- Started to really pay attention to film ( movies ) what was going on in front of the camera, but more interestingly, behind it as well at about as far back as age 10. Motion pictures ( when good ) are a fascinating medium. All the work and prep that goes into filmmaking. It's an amazing process !
