Woody Allen's return to New York, in this dark comedy tale about a scrooge like, eccentric man ( David ) from Greenwich Village, who gets caught up in a series of love stories, which get him tangled up with a young woman from the south ( Wood ) and her parents.
PG-13 for sexual situations, including dialogue, brief nude images, and themes. 92 min.
Oscart chances ? Screenplay, supporting actress and cinematography.
