Written by Gervais and Matthew Robinson, Cinematography by Tim Suhrstedt ( 17 Again ) Edited by Chris Gill ( Millions, Brideshead Revisited ) Original music by Tim Atack.

Film is set in an alternate earth where nobody has ever lied before, and Gervais plays a character named Mark Bellison, who commits the first lie and finding out the power of a lie of what it can create for his own personal gain.

Rated PG-13 for language, some sexual material and a drug reference. 99 min.

Oscar chances ? Possible for Golden Globe in Musical/Comedy category. Maybe a chance at screenwriting.
