Filming got underway this month in Budapest on a new version of The Raven, with John Cusack starring as writer Edgar Allen Poe. The film is a fictionalized account of the last days of Edgar Allan Poe's life, in which the poet is in pursuit of a serial killer whose murders mirror those in the writer's stories.
The movie is being directed by James McTeigue ( The Invasion, 1408 ) and also stars Luke Evans, Alice Eve and Oliver Jackson- Cohen. Screenplay was written by actor Ben Livingston and cinematography is provided by Benoit Delhomme ( The Proposition, 1408 )
