Drag Me To Hell is a horror/thriller and Raimi's return to the genre that put him on the map. Plot of the film is about loan officer Christine Brown ( Lohman ) who denies an elderly Slavic woman an extention on her mortgage. In a desperate response and in front of everybody in the bank, the woman begs on her hands and knees for Christine and the bank to reconsider. Christine harshly rejects the plea and sends the woman off in embarrassment and humiliation. The elderly woman's pride now crushed and extremely angered, places a curse on Christine in revenge. In a past coincidence, Christine is told by a psychic that she is to be visited by a demon, tortured for 3 days and dragged to hell to burn in eternity.
Movie can't be too gruesome or shocking, as it's only rated PG-13. More suspense than gore.
Rated PG-13 for horror violence, terror, disturbing images and language. 99 min.
Oscar chances ? This will definitely make the horror movie award lists.

About Me
- No Bad Movies
- Started to really pay attention to film ( movies ) what was going on in front of the camera, but more interestingly, behind it as well at about as far back as age 10. Motion pictures ( when good ) are a fascinating medium. All the work and prep that goes into filmmaking. It's an amazing process !
