This is a simple entry. I don't think Jeremy Renner's performance in The Hurt Locker and Morgan Freeman's in Invictus are of being the top 5 performances by a leading male this year. But that's just me. Both are seeing a lot of precursor love as of late. I guess we'll see come Oscar if they'll hang on and score nods there too.
